Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) gets you around Dallas and 12 surrounding cities with modern public transit services and customer facilities tailored to make your trip fast, comfortable and economical. Our extensive network of DART Rail, Trinity Railway Express (TRE) and bus services moves more than 220,000 passengers per day across our 700-square-mile service area. Paratransit is a shared-ride service operated with modern, accessible vehicles, and taxicabs.

KGS Creative Consulting and PHP Transport provided a creative prototype of a cloud-based scheduling solutions that embraced the needs of their mobility business. The creative prototype leveraged existing asset monitoring devices, tracking systems and transportation managing system. Provided a set of business templates that could be deployed to deliver immediate value and dramatically improve the throughput of assets.

Riders who are unable to access vans by using steps can use the wheelchair lifts or ramps. On the large accessible vans, boarding chairs are available upon request. DART also offers free travel training, along with travel ambassadors, to persons with disabilities who are capable of riding accessible bus and rail services.

  kennygsmith Creative Consulting deployed a prototype application on the desktop platform using the Adobe Flex cross-platform application framework to build and maintain Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) desktop applications.

  • Visualization Exploration UI Style Sheets Themes: Defined creative UI explorations and developers style sheet(s) themes that were used to define project production consistency. Coordinated with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) manager in the research of the creative UI brand. Provided creative recommendations for both Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and application users.
  • UI Application Plan: Created a comprehensive plan that was implemented on and a modular basis. The project plan determined a timeframe of events and tasks, with functional specification, which outlined in detail how the application will function and flow.
  • Creative Brand Strategy: Developed initial look and feel for a new website portal. Proposed creative branding that could be used to modify the on-going online creative marketing campaign.
  • Development Specification: Created a comprehensive plan where the KGS Creative Consulting programmer/s or Web developer/s started coding, testing and publishing data for the desktop applications.
